#1 Dip a toe at Wet 'n' Wild
Located in Anthony TX, this water park has been a long time El Paso family favorite. Whether it is relaxing in the Little Rio Grande or getting your adrenaline pumping on a water slide, you will have a good time. One of the great things about this park is the open policy for bringing in your own food and beverages as well as being able to barbecue! Did I mention there are tons of trees for shade?
#2 Watch a Chihuahua's Game at Southwest University Park
El Paso pride shines strong at a Chihuahua's game. Southwest University Stadium is a beautiful new-built, top-of-the-line facility that is sure to impress. Come watch the Chihuahuas beat up on the competition in style and comfort. Just try to get seats in the shade if your going to a day game.
#3) Hueco Tanks
Just a 30 minute drive from El Paso will land you in awe inspiring Hueco Tanks. This amazing park is full of natural rock formations and world class rock climbing. You can easily spend the day or weekend soaking up the scenic beauty.
#4) Escape the Heat in the Mountains
Lets face it, El Paso can get HOT! If you are looking to escape the heat or get some green in your life,a quick 2 to 3 hour drive will land you in the beautiful pines of the New Mexico Rocky Mountains. Some great destinations include the towns of Ruidoso and Cloudcroft as well as the Lincoln and Gila National Forests.
Built in 2018, TopGolf is a newcomer to El Paso but has quickly captured the attention of the locals. If you like golf, great views and delicious food, then TopGolf is sure to please.

There are also tons of great hiking and biking trail options like Mckelligon Canyon and Franklin Mountains state park. If exerting physical effort isn't your thing then Wyler Aerial Tramway is a great choice.
